The District is hereby inviting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified consulting firms (Consultant or Firm) with demonstrated expertise in support of its Value Engineering effort. The selected Firm will be required to provide technical staff in support of the Value Engineering Services for the Technical Evaluation of the stormwater canals. The focused effort will review the designs completed by others to date, the constructability of the design, and how the construction will be sequenced with adjacent development. It is recommended that prospective firms consider appropriate teaming with sub-consultants so that the professional entity has the ability and resources to offer the level of services required. This experience includes, but is not limited to: Project Management Structural Concrete Design Geotechnical Considerations Construction Phasing and Constructability Cost Estimating Services In the Statement of Qualifications, the consultant team will need to demonstrate: Established project management experience from previous projects. Experience and expertise in Value Engineering processes. Working knowledge and familiarity with the scope of work. Established experience and technical capabilities for collaborating with TRWD staff or similar. type owner-based organization. Do not provide any fee estimates, pricing, or billing rate information as part of the SOQ submittal.
