Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Typical work under the contract will include, but is not limited to, construction of concrete floodwall, concrete stoplog floodwall and swing closure gate structures, and related concrete cast-in-place columns, footings, sheet pile cutoff wall, and concrete sill. Work also includes related pavement and utilities removal, and installation of storm sewer, catch basins, and manholes, trench drain inlets, concrete sidewalks, concrete trail, curb and gutter, and concrete pavement work, and pavement striping. Estimated Range: $25-$50 Million As of November 7, 2025, the project is in design. However, information regarding construction and completion timelines have not been released.
