The work consists of Schedule 1: Maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Freeport Harbor to Matagorda Bay reach. Dredging to occur between GIWW sta 587+000 and sta 890+000. Estimated Volume is 883,000 CY. Placement areas are upland confined, open water and surf zone. Option 1 - Maintenance dredging of Brazos River Floodgates Boat House. Estimated Volume is 1,870 CY. Placement area is PA 88. Option 2 - Maintenance dredging of Colorado River Locks Boat House. Estimated Volume is 2,340 CY. Placement area is PA 106. Option 3 - Maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Freeport Harbor to Matagorda Bay reach. Dredging to occur between GIWW sta 958+000 and sta 961+000. Estimated Volume is 60,000 CY. Option 4 - Maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Freeport Harbor to Matagorda Bay, Channel to Palacios tributary. Dredging to occur between GIWW Channel to Palacios sta 480+00 and sta 791+13. Estimated Volume is 658,000 CY. Placement areas are open water. Option 5 - Maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Freeport Harbor to Matagorda Bay, San Bernard River Channel tributary. Dredging to occur between sta 0+075 and sta 134+300. Estimated Volume is 139+350 CY. Placement areas are open water. Option 6 - Maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Freeport Harbor to Matagorda Bay, Colorado River Channel tributary. Dredging to occur between sta 13+800 and sta 81+300. Estimated Volume is 143+660 CY. Placement areas are open water. If awarded an additional 260 calendar days will be added to contract completion date. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 200 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount to be determined for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The solicitation issued will be a firm-fixed price contract award. Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated over $10,000,000.00. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time
