This Request for Quotation is an invitation to prospective Bidders to submit Quotations to provide solutions for the supply, delivery, and installation of new playground equipment at Huron Heights Public School. Together both Bluewater District and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Boards serve a total of fifty- one (51) elementary schools, eleven (11) secondary schools, three (3) administration sites and one (1) warehouse. The Boards support an area of 8,673 square kilometers in size and are defined by the borders of Bruce and Grey Counties. The construction of this project should begin on or about May 1, 2024 and must be completed no later than May 31, 2024. Upon the start of construction, a continuous work schedule should be maintained until completion. The contractor will be required to install a temporary fence around the construction site for the duration of the construction. The contractor will be responsible for removal of the fence enclosure upon the structure passing final inspection by the Board's third-party contracted inspection vendor. The Board further reserves the right to cancel the Contract where the performance, quality or maintenance and service deteriorate without sufficient action by the Supplier to rectify the problem. Such cancellations will be immediate and shall not result in any additional cost or penalty whatsoever to the Board.
