Bids are invited for the several item sand quantities as follows: 1. Approximately 11,100 l.f. of 12", 10" and 6" C900PVC 2. Approximately Sixteen (16) Fire Hydrants 3. Associated Valves and Fittings A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety is required with each bid for those contracts that exceed$100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Paris or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value)may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. This request is for materials related to a project that is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA)requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("IIJA"),Pub. L. 177-58. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials use din this project must be produced in the United States, as further outlined by the Office of Management and Budget's Memorandum M-22-11, Initial Implementation Guidance on Application of Buy America Preference in Federal Financial Assistance Programs for Infrastructure, April 18,2022. The City of Paris reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may beheld by the City of Paris for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors and/or subcontractors who are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not under take any activity in part or in full under this project.
