Reference Number 0000262850 Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for tenders to establish a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) to carry out lagging work specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements for Saint Jean Garrison and Satellite Sites (QC). The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents. The purpose of this document is to provide general and specific requirements for the on-demand, as- needed performance of lagging installation, replacement or repair work on piping and appliances of various mechanical systems in buildings, steam and condensate ducts, in buildings and underground ducts, such as but not limited to: 1.1.1.1 Steam piping; 1.1.1.2 Condensate piping; 1.1.1.3 Heating piping; 1.1.1.4 Hot or cold domestic water piping; 1.1.1.5 Cooled water piping; 1.1.1.6 Hot or chilled glycol piping; 1.1.1.7 Circular or rectangular ventilation ducts; 1.1.1.8 Storm drains; 1.1.1.9 Refrigerant piping; 1.1.1.10 Hot water tanks, heat exchangers, valves and other equipment. DND reserves the right to supply certain materials or products. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
