Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Muskegon, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This bid will include, but not be limited to, the construction of a park entrance, access drive, parking areas, ballfield(s), pathways, tram, stairway, and other associated items. Park access is provided off from 0 Russell Rd., North Muskegon, MI. The park is open daily to the public and all areas of the park can be easily viewed by interested bidders during normal daylight hours. Bid Package No. 1 Site Work Bid Package No. 2 Ball Field Completion Bid Package No. 3 Inclined Elevator System Bid Package No. 4: Stairway System Bid Package No. 5 Site Concrete Bid Package No. 6 Galvanized Fencing Bid Security shall be made payable to City of North Muskegon, Muskegon County, Michigan in an amount of five percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a Surety. The Bid Security of the Successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has executed the Agreement and furnished the required Contract Security, whereupon it will be returned. Bid Security of other Bidders will be returned within seven days of the Bid Award. Bidder shall deliver Performance and Payment Bonds to the Owner not later than the date of the execution of the Agreement. The bonds shall include the name, legal status and address of the Contractor, the name, legal status and principal place of business of the Surety, state the Owner as City of North Muskegon, Muskegon County, Michigan, the bond amount, and the project. The bonds shall be written in the form of AIA Document A312, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, with the amount shown for each part equal to 100 percent of the total amount payable by the terms of the Contract. Bidder shall require the attorney-in-fact that executes the required bonds on behalf of the surety to affix thereto a certified and current copy of the attorney's power of attorney indicating the monetary limit of such power. All work completed under this contract shall be completed on or before 5:00 P.M. on December 15, 2024. Extensions of time can be allowed through written approval by the City of North Muskegon.
