Rockdale County desires to enter into a Design Build Contract agreement for the design, construction, and installation of a Pedestrian Bridge across Big Haynes Creek at Costley Mill Park. Costley Mill Park is located at 2455 Costley Mill Rd Conyers, GA 30013 on 77 acres of parkland with trails and off-road amenities. Costley Mill Park is well known as a site for movie productions, television shows, weddings, receptions, family reunions, church functions and photo shoots. The Pedestrian Bridge across Big Haynes Creek will enhance recreation, leisure, and further promote tourism in Rockdale County. Note: The county will allow filming and photo shoots while making improvements to the park so scheduling will need to be coordinated in advance with park staff. Purchase and Installation of a Pedestrian Bridge at Costley Mill. The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals from firms or organizations to establish a contract for Purchase and Installation of a Pedestrian Bridge at Costley Mill in Rockdale County.
