Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fairfax, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work is generally described as the demolition and replacement of existing electrical equipment at Popes Head Pumping Station including modifications and other miscellaneous related construction activities to provide for the proper and successful completion of the Work. The above description shall serve as general information only and shall not be construed to limit the contractor's responsibility or obligation to comply with the Contract Documents and Detailed Technical Specifications. Bid security in an amount equal to 5% of the Bidder's Total Bid Price. Bid security may be in the form of a Bid bond in form included as Section 00430 of this IFB, a cashier's or certified check upon a solvent bank or trust company made payable to the order of Fairfax Water, or a cash escrow Deadline for Questions: September 25, 2024 @ 5:00 P.M. Local Prevailing Time Fairfax Water reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in its sole discretion if such action is deemed to be in the best interests of Fairfax Water. Fairfax Water also reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who is determined by Fairfax Water not to be responsive or responsible. Fairfax Water shall be the sole judge of the qualifications of the Bidder in performing under the terms as specified in the Contract. Fairfax Water reserves the right to waive such informalities as may be deemed to be in the best interests of Fairfax Water
