**As of March 28, 2024, the project was awarded to Powder River Construction in the amount of $683,402.20.** The Rozet Elementary School improvements project Base Bid scope involves the south and east portions of the school facility, generally the playground and east parking lot, with the removal of 3829 SY of AC and PCC surfacing; removal of 1530 SF of PCC sidewalk and 747 SF of PCC valley gutter; installation of 1,710 SF of varying PCC sidewalk with thickened edge; installation of 3285 SF of PCC valley gutter; associated base course and subgrade preparation; minor earthwork. Scope also includes remove and replace gravel surfacing; remove and replace chain link fencing and components; remove landscaping and install dryland seed vegetation landscaping. The remaining replacement surfacing for the Base Bid extents are identified in Alternate 1 and Alternate 2 below with only one alternate to be selected. Project Alternate 1 Bid scope identifies the replacement surfacing with the Project Base Bid extents with installation of 3710 of light duty AC paving; 182 SY of heavy duty AC pavement; associated base course and subgrade preparation; minor earthwork. Project Alternate 2 Bid scope identifies the replacement surfacing with the Project Base Bid extents with installation of 3710 of light duty PCC paving; 182 SY of heavy duty PCC pavement; associated base course and subgrade preparation; minor earthwork. Project Alternate 3 Bid scope expands additional areas around the school facility to the southwest and west extent, generally the remaining playground, west parking lot and accesses, with the removal of 1951 SY of AC and PCC surfacing; removal of 1116 SF of PCC sidewalk and 2682 SF of PCC valley gutter; installation of 1281 SY of light duty PCC paving; 924 SY heavy duty PCC paving; 192 SY heavy duty AC paving; installation of 1341 SF PCC sidewalk with thickened edge; installation of 1395 SF of PCC valley gutter; associated base course and subgrade preparation; minor earthwork.
