The City of Tempe is issuing this Invitation for Bid to establish a contract for the purchase and installation of sod and hydro-sprigging and hydro-seeding mixtures. Resulting contracts shall be for an initial two (2) year period, with three (3), one-year renewal periods. Contract Renewal: The City reserves the right to unilaterally extend the period of any resultant Contract for ninety (90) days beyond the stated term. In addition, the City at its option may renew for supplemental terms of up to a maximum of three (3) additional years. The period for any single renewal increment shall be determined by the Procurement Office. Such increment shall not be for more than a period of one (1) year each, unless the City is eligible to obtain a significant cost and/or supply advantage by a longer Contract renewal period.
