As of April 1, 2024, the project was awarded to Heim Construction Co. Inc., with an awarded amount of $589,555.61. The Project generally consists of the rehabilitation of two existing abandoned railroad bridges located on SCMA property and proposed waterline alignment. The Schuylkill County Municipal Authority will accept sealed bids for the Bridge Rehabilitation Project - Contract B The project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. All work performed must comply with the Federal Aid Policy Guide, 23 CFR part 645, Subpart A, The Buy America Provisions in 23 U.S.C Section 313, 23 CFR Section 635.410, "the Build America, Buy America Act" (Public Law 117-58 Subsection 70901-52) and the PA Steel Products Procurement Act, 3 P.S. Section 1881 et seq. All Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid.
