**As of March 7, 2024, the project was awarded to DK Contractors, Inc., with an awarded amount of $1,302,689.** The Project consists of one prime Contract and generally consists of the following: 1,440 LF of 16" PVC water main, 125 LF of 12" PVC water main, 125 LF of 8" PVC water main, 75 LF of 6" PVC water main, 550 LF of 1.5" water service, 215 LF of boring 16" water main, 650 LF of boring 1.5" water service, 11,050 LF of abandoning water main, 4 EA of hydrants, 4 EA of 6" gate valve, 4 EA of 8" gate valve, 5 EA of 12" butterfly valve, 14 EA of 16" butterfly valve, erosion control, and restoration. All Contractors shall comply with the "Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie" requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work on this Contract. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time. Approved pre-qualifications will be posted prior to bid opening. All Sub-contractors utilized for this Contract must be identified in the bid documents under "LIST OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS" and all Sub-contractors must be pre-qualified prior to award of this Contract. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Acceptable Bid Security shall be Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount equal to the Contract Price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 40 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of the Owner.
