Project Information: Project Description: The scope of this project is to perform deep draft maintenance dredging with a Pipeline Dredge for hot spots in the Texas City Ship Channel (TCSC) Main Channel and Main Turning Basin, Galveston County, Texas. Approx. 1,000,000 cy will be placed in an upland confined and semi-confined placement areas. Contractor should be familiar with the traffic conditions in the TCSC. Contractor should provide experience as a prime contractor dredging deep draft navigation channels utilizing a pipeline dredge and provide production rates. The project will include options. Place of Performance: Texas City Ship Channel (TCSC) Main Channel and Main Turning Basin, Galveston County, Texas. The estimated award date for this contract is projected for August of 2024. Completion time for the project is 113 calendar days for Schedule 1 and 18 calendar days for options. Estimated Production Rate: 15,000 cy/day The contractor will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (5) calendar days after award. Contractor shall begin Work within (10) calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed.
