Renovation of a library in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
SUMMARY OF WORK: A. Miscellaneous restoration and repairs to exterior walls and roof at the existing facility including, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Exterior Walls a. Power wash existing exterior masonry walls and apply clear sealer. b. Repair cracks/voids in mortar joints in masonry. c. Replace sealants at perimeters of windows/ doors. d. Apply sealant around penetrations in exterior walls. e. Replace windows. f. Repair damaged areas of concrete of exposed slab edge. g. Repair stucco on columns and apply elastomeric coating. h. Replace damaged/loose areas on stucco soffit. 1. Roof: a. Perform repairs to modified bitumen base flashings at curbs. b. Repair strip-in flashing along metal edge/ gravel guard. c. Unclog roof drain. d. Replace deteriorated/damaged pipe supports. e. Repair termination of roof-to-roof expansion joint. f. Repair/secure and clean copper sheet metal cladding. Eligible Contractors must be registered with Sam.gov to be awarded contract. See: SAM. gov | Home for registration info. D. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. City of Texas City, hereafter known as Owner, is requesting Bids for miscellaneous restoration and repairs to exterior walls and roof at Moore Memorial Library located at 1701 9 th Avenue North in Texas City, Texas.
