Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ammon, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes the construction of the bridge with voided slab girders and an integrated bridge system abutment. The roadway connections tying together John Adams Parkway and modifications to driveway approaches will also be required. Additional improvements include sidewalk, earthwork grading, curb & gutter, landscaping, and storm-water improvements. Construction methods, materials, acceptance and payment shall be per the 2023 Idaho Transportation Department Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. All questions shall be directed in writing to the City Clerk. In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. The City reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the extended price, as provided on attached Bid Tabulation Sheet. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. The City of Ammon reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Ammon.
