Renovation of an educational facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot educational facility.

As of August 18, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. To include all necessary labor, material and equipment to renovate space on the first and second floor of the Campus Activities Building. The renovated spaces will provide teaching labs and support spaces for the Optometry OD program. The project is a single-phase renovation but will require phasing of the existing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system with two new air handling units to be installed on the roof. Other project scope includes upgrades to the networking infrastructure and installation of an audio-visual (AV) system for remote learning in the lecture classrooms. All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by 270 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Refer to Division 1- General Requirements for bid alternates where the project completion schedule shall be reduced. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 22% MBE and 8% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
