Schwartz Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Upgrade. This Project consists of the replacement of the Building Fire Alarm System and upgrades to Emergency Lighting. 65 Charles Gay Loop New York 10035 The description and location of the work for which bids are requested are specified in the field Description. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in an amount and type specified in the questionnaire. The bid security shall assure the City of New York of the adherence of the bidder to its proposal, the execution of the Contract, and the furnishing of Performance and Payment Bonds Within thirty (30) days from the Award Date or as otherwise directed, the Contractor will submit the Site Safety Plan. The Site Safety Plan will identify project work scope, safety hazards associated with the project tasks, and include specific safety procedures and training appropriate and necessary to complete the work. The Site Safety Plan is subject to review and acceptance by the Office of Construction Safety prior to the commencement of work at the site. Due to the project work scope and project duration, the Office of Construction Safety may grant a conditional acceptance for a Site Safety Plan without all sections being complete. Liquidated damages received hereunder are not intended to be nor shall they be treated as either a partial or full waiver or discharge of the City's right to indemnification, or the Contractor's obligation to indemnify the City, or to any other remedy provided for in this Contract or by Law.
