Reynolds, Inc. for $ 1,873,600 Electrical Construction Contract - S&S Electrical Services, Inc. for $2,793,000 Food Service Construction Contract - 11400 Inc. for $ 342,000 Contract Length is 3/14/2024 – 11/30/2025. In addition, the HVAC/Mechanical Construction Contract was pulled from approval due to a clerical error on the paperwork. This will be rebid with approval scheduled for April 3, 2024 at a Special Board Meeting. The project will include the addition of a bus entrance drive off Broad Run Road, south of the existing entrance to the school site. This drive allows for separation of the bus traffic from automobile traffic. The bus traffic will be rerouted to provide loading/unloading along the existing looped drive at the front of the building. Automobile loading/unloading will take place along the north face of the existing building. With the project including two additions, storm water collection will be addressed by the creation of a new underground detention basin as well as a new retention basin in the southeast corner of the site. The Work of this Project may be summarized as follows: Additions and Renovations to West Bradford Elementary School, including the Site and related building and selective demolition Work, as indicated on the Drawings and specified herein. SEALED PROPOSALS are invited by the undersigned for the project described as Additions and Renovations to West Bradford Elementary School PROPOSALS are invited on a lump sum basis for the following Contracts: Contract No. 1 - General Construction Contract No. 2 - Plumbing Construction Contract No. 3 - HVAC Construction Contract No. 4 - Electrical Construction Contract No. 5 - Food Service Construction PROPOSAL SECURITY shall accompany each proposal submitted in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the proposal, Base Bid. Except as permitted by Pennsylvania Act No. 4 of 1974, proposals may not be withdrawn by the bidder for a period not to exceed 60 calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof, or, if award of contract is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds or the award of grant or grants, the proposals may not be withdrawn by the bidder during the 120-day period following the date of bid opening.
