Design service - Randolph County Hospital Entrance/Admin Renovation. This is a Request for Proposal for Architectural Services. The project will consist of the design/supervise construction of a renovation of the entrance and administrative portion of the previously closed Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center related to a Southeast Crescent Regional Commission State Economic and Infrastructure Development (SEID) Grant in Randolph County. A professional services contract will be awarded to whoever is considered to be the most responsible offer or whose proposal is considered to be the most advantageous. The engineer will be responsible to the Randolph County Commission for providing the county with a preliminary engineering report during the development phase of the application which meets the guidelines set forth in the State Economic and Infrastructure Development Grant Program 2023 Notice of Funding Availability. To be selected, the Engineer/Architect must show the ability to produce the required preliminary plans and cost estimates within 30 days of selection. If funded, the Engineer/Architect will be responsible for final design, plans and specifications, obtaining necessary permits and/or easements; preparing for bid and contract documents, including advertising and bidding procedures; supervising construction and project closeout, as well as other necessary services. Fee approach for general administrative services, engineering and design, preparation of plans and specifications, pre-construction services, contract administration, site inspection, and other specifically required services. Generally, when funding is secured, but prior to implementation, a contract amendment will be executed for these services based upon a lump sum.
