Mumford Road Waterline Extension The City anticipates the scope of work for the Project to consist of the following responsibilities and the following items: o Mumford Road Install 5,635 LF of 18" waterline Install 75 LF of 30" casing by open cut Demolish, remove and replace existing drives and fences o FM 2818 Install 1,028 LF of 18" waterline Install 121 LF of 30" casing by open cut Install 186 LF of 30" casing by dry bore Demolish, remove and replace existing fences o All other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project The selected Offeror will be also responsible for: obtaining all applicable permits and inspections; providing all necessary performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates; and providing the Owner with all manufacturers' warranties and all operations and maintenance (O & M) manuals for all equipment installed. All proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount payable to the City of Bryan, from a surety company authorized to do business in Texas as a guarantee that the Proposer will enter into a contract and provide required insurance within five (5) business days after receiving a Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to City all submittals required by this contract within ten (10) business days from Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to the City executed Performance and Payment bonds within seven (7) business days after City Council Award of Contract. The bond shall be on the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas and approved by the Federal Government, and must bear the impressed seal of the surety company and the name of the Proposer, and be signed by the Proposer and an authorized representative of the surety company. Powers of attorney must be attached to the proposal bond The selected Offeror may be required to perform some or all of the following pre-construction and construction services. Preconstruction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, planning and value engineering the Work. Construction Services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, all work associated with construction, occupancy and warranty of the facilities Location: The Project is located from the Bryan Industrial Park across Harvey Mitchell Parkway and along Mumford Road to the BISD Tract located at 6753 Mumford Road. Project Estimated Budget: The proposed budget for construction costs for this Project is $1,800,000, inclusive of all incidental and contingent expenses associated with the construction of the entire scope of the Project. Project Estimated Completion Date: The City has established a target commencement date for construction activities as [April 1, 2024]. The projected completion date is estimated to be 140 working days. The City reserves the right to modify the commencement date, subject to Owner and Contractor availability, phase the construction of the Project, or modify the schedule as needed and determined by the City due to modifications in scope.
