Site work and paving for a civil project in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following approximate quantities of Work: 1,400 linear feet (LF) of sanitary sewer; 1,200 LF of water main; 250 LF of storm sewer; 2,300 LF of curb and gutter; 11,500 square feet (SF) of sidewalk and driveway apron; 3,300 tons (T) of base course; 9,700 square yards (SY) of pavement pulverization; 3,400 T of asphalt pavement; restoration; and related miscellaneous work. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price The City of Whitewater reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Prospective Bidders are required to complete and submit a prequalification questionnaire with supporting documents to OWNER (see Instructions to Bidders) Prequalification forms will be provided with Bidding Document sets Pre-Qualification: Yes All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Issuing Office as having received the Bidding Documents.
