The NORTH JERSEY DISTRICT WATER SUPPLY COMMISSION (the "Commission") is soliciting Bids from Contractors that have expertise in HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation. The North Jersey District Water Supply Commission's water infrastructure facilities are primarily located in Wanaque, Passaic County, New Jersey with remote locations in Wayne and Little Falls, New Jersey. These facilities include many Roof Top Units (RTUs), Split systems condenser/air handlers, roof heating AHU, and packaged heat pump units. The Scope of Work is to include, but not be limited to, quarterly preventative maintenance visits to all facilities to service all HVAC equipment listed below. The preventative maintenance includes full equipment inspections, air filters, belts, small parts, and labor. Emergency repair services are also required within a two (2) hour response time. NJDWSC reserves the right to utilize other contractors or services companies to perform repairs or new installations. The Successful Bidder shall be licensed in the State of New Jersey, shall have and provide upon request, demonstrable experience with maintaining HVAC systems for commercial or industrial clients. Contract will be awarded for 1 year of service with up to four (3) annual renewal options. Renewal will be at the sole discretion of NJDWSC. The project will be conducted under a single prime contract. All bids must be made on the blank forms supplied by the Commission. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid meeting does not relieve the Bidder of any obligations or requirements. Bidder can be held to have knowledge that would have been gained if the Bidder attended the Pre-Bid Meeting. Bidders are required to comply with regulations of the "New Jersey Local Public Contract Law" (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.), Affirmative Action Regulations N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq., The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act N.J.A.C. 12:60-2.1 and 6.1 et. Seq., N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et. seq.) and the New Jersey Contractor Business Registration Certificate N.J.S.A. 52.32-44. Maddalena, Contract Administrator The information below must be clearly shown on the outside envelope of all bids: CONTENTS - SEALED PUBLIC BID CONTRACT NUMBER: #2125 TITLE: HVAC SERVICE CONTRACT BID TIME AND DATE: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2024 @ 3:00PM QUESTION CUT OFF DATE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2024 BIDS FORWARDED VIA OVERNIGHT SERVICES SHALL INDICATE THAT A SEALED BID IS CONTAINED THEREIN. The Commission will assume no responsibility for bids, which are not properly labeled, whether delivered by the bidder or the bidder's representative, or sent by mail or courier service. Bid Security: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for ten (10%) percent of the contract price (not to exceed $20,000) as a guarantee of execution of contract and the provision of performance security. Surety's Consent: Every bid must be accompanied by the consent in writing of a surety company (or surety companies) qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, who shall, at the time of submission of such bid, qualify as to its (or their) responsibility in an amount equal to ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the contract price of such bid.
