Site work and paving for a civil project in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required. For technical questions about this project or to obtain the bidding documents, please contact Catherine Knisley at catherinek@cityofws.org This project as proposed is to extend a greenway 3,500 ft from the current terminus of Little Creek Greenway Phase 1 near Atwood Acres to Somerset Drive. The greenway will be a ten-foot asphalt path with ditches and drainage. Improvements are also proposed along Somerset Drive to connect to the greenway to adjacent neighborhoods. Construction time is estimated to be 17 months from NTP around end of April 2024. M/WBE subcontracting goals of 8% MBE and 5% WBE apply, which must be met separately
