Time for Completion: No construction activity shall be allowed during the National Republican Convention (RNC) from July 15, 2024 through July 20, 2024 on this contract. The contractor shall leave all work zones clean, safely barricaded and accessible per the direction of the construction engineer. No work may take place between December 18, 2023 and March 18, 2024 unless otherwise approved by the MWW construction engineer. Work on E. Howard Av. (PF2024019) and E. Wells St. (PF2024021), including all pavement restoration, shall be completed by March 22, 2024. Work on E. Linus St. (PF2024016, 2024017, 2024017), including all pavement restoration must be completed by June 21, 2024. Work on N. 75th St. (PF2024009), N. 75th Ct. (PF2024010), N. Dousman St. (PF2024011, 2024012), E. Potter Av. (PF2024013, 2024014), and E. Falling Heath Pl. (PF2024015), including all pavement restoration must be completed by July 12, 2024. All other work including pavement restoration must be completed by September 30, 2024. Contractor shall use multiple crews, as necessary, to meet completion deadline. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1,000.00 The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The City of Milwaukee has applied for funding for all projects in this contract through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. This contract is subject to the Davis Bacon Compliance Provisions. The contractor shall submit weekly payroll certification, utilizing the Payroll form included in the contract documents or equivalent.
