A. Project: 23101.00 Water Meter Replacement - Labor Bid B. Owner: The Alabaster Water Board C. Engineer: InSite Engineering, LLC D. All qualified bidders are invited to submit a Bid under sealed envelope to The Alabaster Water Board for replacement of approximately 12,000 Water Meters over a 3 year period.Materials will be provided by the owner. WORK IDENTIFIED IN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Work of this proposed Contract comprises general construction and for replacement of 4,000 meter installations per year for a period of three consecutive years totaling 12,000 meters +/-. Installation packages will be issued initially in 500 meter increments per month with deadline, performance, and evaluation criteria. Each annual extension will be initiated by a new notice to proceed on the original contract notice to proceed date.. C. Location: Alabaster, Alabama 35007. D. Land and Access: 1. Contract Documents identify land (Water Board Service Area), rights-of-way (Public Roads), and easements for the Work to be accessed and performed by way of existing facilities. Description: 1. Owner requires the Project to be substantially completed within 365 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as dated in the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment within 400 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as dated in the Notice to Proceed. The same terms and conditions shall be applied to years 2 and 3. B. Time is of Essence: 1. Owner requires Work of this Contract to be completed as soon as possible. 2.
