The Town of Huntersville is currently accepting Statements of Qualifications proposals for Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections (CMT and SI) to provide complete special inspections and construction materials testing services during construction of the new Huntersville town hall. The Town selected the design-build team of Edifice-Creech & Associates to complete this project. Project Sitework will include the construction of a new Civic Plaza connecting the new building to the existing Town Center as well as development of the land across the street to assist with storm water treatment. The project site, addressed at 14704 N Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078 has been cleared and ready for construction. The Town is on the LGC calendar for early March for financing approval and construction is anticipated to begin in mid-to-late March 2024. The Town will attempt to enter into negotiations with the selected firm for a contract for construction materials testing and special inspections for the new town hall project with an anticipated completion of December 2025.
