The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to contract with a qualified firm to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) for Metro Tech High School: Demolition of Existing Building(s) and Construction of New Classroom and Athletic Facility Building. The project is briefly presented in the following paragraphs. The District Office located at 2526 W. Osborn Road is currently under construction. Please consider these delays and allow for sufficient time when delivering your response in person. The District shall not be held responsible for late deliveries due to construction delays. In accordance with School District Procurement Rules in the Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) promulgated by the State Board of Education pursuant to A.R.S. 15-213, Proposal for specified professional services and construction using the alternative project delivery methods for the materials or services specified will be received by the Phoenix Union High School District No. 210, at the above specified location, until the time and date cited. Qualifications received by the correct time and date shall be opened and only the name of the Offerors shall be publicly read. All other information contained in the Statement of Qualifications shall remain confidential until award is made. If you need directions to our office, please call 602-764-1402. The construction will be performed on the Metro Tech High School campus, 1900 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85015. The District requests that firms do not visit the site or contact the Principal or site staff. The District does not want to disrupt the education process. Firms are welcome to drive by the site, collect data available via the internet or by any other legal means. Site visits and tours will not be conducted. Qualifications shall be in the actual possession of the District, at the location indicated, on or prior to the exact time and date indicated above. Late offers shall not be considered. The official time will be determined by the clock located in the Materials Management Center designated "Official Bid Time". Qualifications must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the solicitation number and Offeror's name and address clearly indicated on the envelope. All statements of qualifications must be written legibly in ink or typewritten. Additional instructions for preparing a statement of qualifications are provided herein. Construction Manager at Risk - General Contracting services for demolition of existing building(s) and construction of a new classroom building and athletic facilities. Schedule Project construction start date contingent upon design and GMP. Preconstruction date will begin after the approval of the contract during the April board meeting. Project duration = 2.5 - 3 years (Design and Construction). Construction duration = 24-30 months. Project Completion = 2026-2027 School Year. Budget Total Project Budget = $60,000,000 Construction budget = $50,000,000
