Renovation of a municipal facility in Valley View, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of February 8, 2024, no bids received. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. Bids will be reviewed at the Hegins Township Municipal Building, located at 421 S Gap Street, Valley View, PA 17983 following opening. Thereafter, Bid results will be available online. The Township Office is open by Appointment. If you intend to submit bids in person, please call the Office in advance at (570) 682-9133. The Work related to the Interior Construction of Township Municipal Building comprises of the installation of insulation, drywall, drop ceiling, lighting, HVAC Unit with ductwork, hot water heater, offices, ADA restroom, meeting room, emergency lighting, smoke detectors, exterior lights, ADA parking space with signage, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with the PennDOT Pub 408 and RC Standards recommendations and these Contract Documents including all electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general construction. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The Work to be constructed hereunder is located at 421 S. Gap Street in Hegins Township, Schuylkill County. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Hegins Township, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by Hegins Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the project. Hegins Township reserves the right after opening bids to reject any part of or all bids and to waive any minor informality, technical defects or irregularities in a bid. Completion-240 calendar days Question Deadline 01/29/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer online via PennBID. Questions will NOT be answered within 5 calendar days prior to the date of opening Bids Pole Building Interior: Ref contract documents Construct all interior walls, with installation of insulation, drywall, spackle and paint, interior doors, drop ceilings, service windows, roll up window and trim work. Snap together vinyl flooring will be installed. All utilities required, including, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, furnace, hot water heater, back flow check valves, hot water heater, PEX piping, utility sink with all fittings, ductwork, vents, registers, switches, lights, receptacles, internet/cable jacks, wire, panel boxes, breakers and all/any pertaining accessories. Installation of ADA restrooms including toilets and sinks, mirrors, bars, handrails, soap dispensers, towel dispensers and accompanying items, Kitchen with appliances (sink, stove, refrigerator, exhaust hood etc.) and cabinets, counters with hardware. All interior doors, frames, enclosures with hardware. All safety equipment including smoke detectors/alarms, fire extinguishers, Ansul Fire Suppression System, railings, exit lights, emergency backup lighting, ADA lighting and accessories. ADA parking. Drywall: Ref contract documents (09260, 09900) Drop Ceiling: Ref contract documents (09511) 8' finished ceiling height in all rooms - except 9' in meeting room Insulation: Ref contract documents (09260) Walls - R-21 (with girts spaced 16" O.C.) Ceiling - R-38 (Batt insulation above drop ceiling on wire mesh) Flooring: Ref contract documents (09650) 20 mil wear layer click together LVT flooring 40' x 80' to be selected by owner. Doors and Windows: Ref contract documents (03050, 08111, 08112, 08710) There will be 1 meeting room door - 4068 AJ5100 9-lite Steel Entry Door with Panic Hardware. There will be 1 storage room door - 3068 AJ5100 6-panel RP Steel Entry Door, No panic bar There will be 8 total interior doors with frames and trim. 3068 Masonite Sta-Tru (03050) There will be 2 ADA restroom doors with frames and trim - 4068 Masonite Sta-Tru (03050) There will be 2 total service windows 26" x 42 1/4" - 603 walk up (08521) There will be 1 total roll up windows 7' wide x 4' high with counter - Cornell Cookson. Electric Stove with Type 1 vented hood - per owner satisfaction and approval (Type 1 vented hood shall be vented through roof in an eye appealing location) 2.
