The Work related to the Interior Construction of Township Municipal Building comprises of the installation of insulation, drywall, drop ceiling, lighting, HVAC Unit with ductwork, hot water heater, offices, ADA restroom, meeting room, emergency lighting, smoke detectors, exterior lights, ADA parking space with signage, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with the PennDOT Pub 408 and RC Standards recommendations and these Contract Documents including all electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general construction. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The Work to be constructed hereunder is located at 421 S. Gap Street in Hegins Township, Schuylkill County. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Hegins Township, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by Hegins Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the project. Hegins Township reserves the right after opening bids to reject any part of or all bids and to waive any minor informality, technical defects or irregularities in a bid.
