Renovation of a fire / police facility in Salisbury, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Fire Station 1 Kitchen Area Renovations. Question Deadline 02/12/2024 at 2:30 PM ET POJECT SCOPE SUMMARY A. The Kitchen area is approximately 525 square feet (see attachment 3). Work includes demolition and disposal of existing kitchen counters, cabinets, appliances, ceiling replacement, floor tiles and block wall partition removal. Replacement of the items includes cabinets, counters, gas range, range hood, fire suppression system, polishing the concrete floor after floor tile removal and incidentals associated with electrical, gas, plumbing, telecom etc. Incidentals to this project could include relocation of various receptacles and existing items within the space, relocation of gas piping, plumbing connections, low voltage wiring, telecom wiring, etc. This list of incidentals is not all inclusive. Proposers are expected to make themselves fully aware of all aspects needed to deliver their proposed kitchen renovation solution. Proposers shall encompass all incidentals associated with their kitchen renovation solution within their pricing proposal package. Please include your proposed construction schedule. We have set an arbitrary number of days but want to convey to bidders that as little down time as possible is desired and a contract duration shall be incorporated into the contract at contract award.. B. Demolition- Demolition includes removal and disposal of all material removed to be replaced including ceiling tiles, cabinets, counter tops, masonry wall partition, removal and disposal of existing VCT tile flooring and other incidental items related to the Work. C. Ceiling Renovations- Renovations shall include new ceiling treatments. The existing grid for the ceiling tiles is to be replaced with new easily washable/cleanable ceiling tiles. The exiting LED lights must be reinstalled. In the event lighting needs to be added or adjusted due to the new layout, this will be the responsibility of the Successful Bidder to encompass and include proper lighting in their base proposal. It is estimated up to 3 lights may need to be installed in addition to what is installed currently. New lights may not be needed depending upon the new ceiling grid layout. We anticipate there being enough light in the space if the current lighting were rotated 90 degrees. All insulation, masonry, drywall work must be included within the proposal. D. Painting and Finishes- All walls, window sills, door frames and doors to the space shall be painted with no less than 1 coat of proper primer and no less than 2 coats of proper paint.
