Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sienna Plantation, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Excavation of residential water service connections to determine source of leaks, repair of deficient water service components, grading, removal and construction of sidewalk, removal and construction of concrete curb and gutter, and removal and construction of concrete driveway, grass sodding, milling of existing pavement, removal of existing flex base, excavation and embankment, repair and regrading of subgrade, construction of flex base and HMACP. The project is located within the Creekwood Cove Cul-de-Sac and extends into one lane of Edgewood Circle. Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, of the Texas Government Code. The City will evaluate and rank the contractors based on the following selection criteria: 30% Contractor Relevant Experience and References, 60% Cost Proposal and 10% proposed schedule. The City shall select the contractor that offers the best value as determined by the selection criteria and ranking evaluation. The estimated total construction budget for this project is $172,000. Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by Proposal Security Made Payable to Owner in an Amount of Five Percent (5%) of Proposer's Total Amount Proposal and in the Form of a Certified or Cashier's Check or a Bond Issued by a Surety Meeting the Requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Question Deadline: 02/02/2024 at 5:00 PM CT. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all PROPOSALS, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional PROPOSALS and to reject the PROPOSAL of any PROPOSER if OWNER believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that PROPOSER, whether because the PROPOSAL is not responsive or the PROPOSER is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by OWNER. OWNER also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful PROPOSER. Discrepancies between the multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of the price that is most advantageous to the City. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum.
