Reference number : 1798493 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2024-02-05 Université du Québec à Montréal is inviting tenders for the redevelopment of seven (7) classrooms in the Hubert-Aquin (A) Pavilion, and one classroom in the Paul-Gérin-Lajoie (N) Pavilion. The work will be completed in the summer of 2024. More specifically, the project consists of, but is limited to, the replacement of floor finishes, suspended ceilings, lighting, electric baseboard heaters, and ventilation diffusion and return grilles. In addition, the addition of a multimedia projector hanging system on the ceiling, the installation of various accessories provided by the Owner, the dismantling and repair of existing fixed furniture, as well as the addition of power outlets and painting work are part of the Contract. The demolition and preparation of the concrete floor will be carried out in the presence of silica. The Contract also includes the recovery of certain existing equipment and its reinstallation. The Contractor must assume that the users and occupants of the building will continue their activities during the work. The Contractor shall act in such a way as to minimize inconvenience to users and personnel. Similarly, the outdoor courtyard, parking lot, access, etc., will also continue to be used throughout the duration of the work. The Contractor shall ensure that users have access to the premises and facilities in a safe, healthy and seamless environment. This includes all development work, demolition, protection, patching and other work necessary for the complete completion of the Work and all related works such as: development and cleaning of the site, temporary protection work, repairs and modifications to existing interior fittings. All jointing, repair, drilling work required for the work hereunder is included. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
