Renovation of an educational facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 125,932-square-foot educational facility.
To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor's license A or B. The project shall in general consist of, but is not limited to new water and sewer connections to existing modular buildings 8872A and 8872B and interior alterations to the restrooms. The work includes selective demolition, piped utilities, AC paving, sewer systems, pavement striping, metals, moisture protection, doors and hardware, new plumbing fixtures, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, new finishes, painting, toilet partitions, mechanical, and electrical fixtures as called for in the Plans and Technical Specifications Requests for substitutions regarding the IFB and its requirements, must be submitted to the Technical Representative of the Procurement Officer (TRPO), Jonathan Weintraub via E-mail at jw77@hawaii.edu no later than 4:00 p.m. (HST) on February 7, 2024. The deadline to submit requests for clarification of the requirements of this IFB is on February 7, 2024. All clarification requests shall be submitted via HePS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS section, and all responses shall be issued in an addendum
