TIMBER LINN SOCCER FIELDS IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 3 ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $70,000 The City of Albany hereby extends an invitation to submit bids for: PK-240106, Timber Linn Soccer Fields Improvements Phase 3: This is the third and final phase of improvements to provide quality soccer fields for nearly 1,000 kids that play soccer each spring and fall. The project involves grading approximately 3.2 acres in Timber Linn Memorial Park to the proper slope, installing irrigation, and field preparation for City staff to plant grass. Special Challenge: Because of late summer and early fall programs, the intent is to complete the project by June 15, 2024, to allow the turf time to grow and stabilize before use. If winter and spring weather do not allow work to be completed prior to this time, the project work must start September 1, 2024, and be completed before fall and winter rains make it difficult to work the soil. The body of the email must plainly identify (1) the project name, (2) the bid opening time and date, (3) the bidder's name, and (4) the contractor's license number (per ORS 701). It is imperative those who download the contract bid documents check the website regularly for addenda, clarifications, and other pertinent notifications. All who are known by the City of Albany to have received a complete set of the contract bid documents will receive notification when additional items are posted. A 10% bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check must accompany each bid on all projects and must be forfeited if the bidder fails to enter into a Contract with the City of Albany within 10 days after the date of the Notice of Award.
