No. 24- RE: AUTHORIZE THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, FIREARMS, AND EXPLOSIVES FOR USE OF THE INDOOR FIREARMS TRAINING FACILITY LOCATED AT 7751 DOANE DRIVE AND BUDGET AND APPROPRIATE $8,000 IN REIMBURSEMENT REVENUE ACTION: WHEREAS, the Police Department recently took possession of an indoor firearms training facility located at 7751 Doane Drive in Manassas; and ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Work involves but is not limited to level 2 renovations within the Prince William County Police Department's Scenario Based Training Center (SBTC) which is the existing shooting range used for law enforcement training. The simulator room and existing mezzanine, along with the office areas are being redesigned to meet new program and equipment needs. The construction of the simulator room is of a high priority to ensure grant funding deadlines are met.
