Renovation of a fire / police facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

A. The Work Includes 1. Furnish All Labor, Materials, Equipment, Supplies, Transportation and Disposal as Necessary to Complete the Construction of Division 1 - General Requirements, San Diego, California. 2. The Work Shall Include but is Not Limited to the Following: A. Removal and Disposal of Approximately 12,000 Square Feet (Harbor Police Administration Building) of Built Up Roof System Down to Wood Substrate Including All Materials Attached to the Existing Roofing System as Shown on the Drawings. Installation of New Fully Adhered Thermoplastic Polyolefin (Tpo) Membrane Roofing System Over High Density Coverboard Polyisocyanurate Insulation on the Existing Roof Wood Plank Decking. B. Removal and Disposal of All Cants, Flashing, Copings, Roof Drains and All Roof Penetrations. Installation of New Flashing, Flashing, Coping, Roof Drains and All Roof Penetration. C. Proper Removal and Disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials and Lead Paint Containing Surfaces Listed on Appendix C - Limited Hazardous Building Materials Survey of Harbor Police Administration Building of the Specifications. D. Removal and Disposal of Mechanical Equipment, All Related Ductwork and Appurtenances at the Harbor Police Administration Building and the Two Metal Buildings (Hp Auxiliary Building 1w and Hp Auxiliary Building 2e) as Shown on the Drawings. E. Installation of New Mechanical Equipment, All Related Ductwork, Seismic Restraint and All Other Related Appurtenances as Shown on the Drawings and as Specified. F. Demolition and Modification of Electrical System Related to the Installation of New Ac System Including Installation of Uninterruptible Power System (Ups) Including Connection to the Existing Temporary Power. G. Installation of New Automatic Control System for the New Hvac Equipment at the Harbor Police Administration Building. All Existing Hvac System in the Gymnasium, Annex Building, Investigation and Patrol Building Shall Be Connected to the New Automatic Control System. H. Testing, Balancing, Commissioning and Training of District Staff of New Hvac Equipment and Automatic Control System. I. Protection of All Existing Improvements That Are Not Included for Demolition, Otherwise Noted on the Drawings. J. Installation of Mobile Temporary in Certain Rooms at the Harbor Police Administration Building as Necessary During Construction. K. Use of Crane and Permit Requirements and Other Means and Methods for Completion of the Work. L. Other Works as Shown on the Drawings and as Specified. Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Liquidated Damages $1,500.00 Calendar Days Estimated Bid Value $1,600,000.00 Start/Delivery Date May 2024 Project Duration 90 Calendar Days Questions or comments regarding this specification must be submitted electronically to our eBid system where the specification was downloaded and must be received by the Port no later than February 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. the Port reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality in a bid. Removal and disposal of approximately 12,000 square feet (Harbor Police Administration Building) of built-up roof system down to wood substrate including all materials attached to the existing roofing system as shown on the drawings. Installation of new fully adhered Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Membrane Roofing System over high density coverboard polyisocyanurate insulation and 3/8" thick plywood sheathing on the existing roof wood plank decking and other work as shown on the drawings.
