Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Tampa, Florida. Working plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of February 24, 2024, a design firm has been selected and this project is in the final planning phase. It is anticipated an advertisement will be issued mid April 2024 and bid letting is mid June 2024. Construction is expected to start in fall 2024 and be completed in summer 2028. This project will add a lane in both the southbound and northbound direction of I-75 between the Tampa Bypass Canal and Fowler Avenue in Hillsborough County.
