New Braunfels Utilities ("NBU") is soliciting Request for Proposals ("RFP") for Kohlenberg and GPI Substation Power Transformers. NBU shall accept requests for additional information or clarification concerning this RFP on or before 4:00 PM CST, February 12, 2024. NBU shall not answer any questions submitted after 4:00 PM CST, February 12, 2024. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted electronically at Online or by emailing purchasing@nbutexas.com. This specification covers the minimum requirements for design, materials, fabrication, construction, testing, inspection, shipping, installation, testing, performance and warranty of new three-phase power transformer(s) and accessories delivered to the address below and factory set to operate at the following voltages: Kohlenberg MVA Rating (MVA)- 20/22.4/26.667/29.867/33.333/37.333 ; Voltage Range (kV )- 138 - 13.09Y/7.56 with LTC , GPI Substation MVA Rating (MVA) - 15/20/25//28 ; Voltage Range (kV) - 138 - 4.2Y/2.425 with 6-Ohm NGR - Delivery Date - Kohlenberg 12/10/2025 GPI 03/23/2026
