Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Zia Pueblo, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the construction of a 26,600-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility; for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility; 13,000-square-foot municipal facility; municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Description of Project The new office complex will house the Pueblo ofJemez Public Works Department (PWD), Natural Resources Department (NRD), Planning, Development and Transportation Department (PDTD), and Realty Office (Departments). The Project will address the health, safety, and wellbeing of Tribal administrative staff and Tribal members who benefit from the many important services provided by these Departments. The Departments are responsible for managing the Pueblo's infrastructure projects (water, wastewater, solid waste, irrigation systems, roads and parking lots, pedestrian facilities, administrative buildings, and economic development infrastructure). In addition to providing dayto-day services for the community, these Departments play an integral role in emergency-response activities during flood, fire, drought, winter and monsoon storm events, pandemic, and other disaster events. The NRD employs 30 staff members who provide Forestry, Wildlife, Rangeland, Agricultural, Environmental Compliance, Cultural Resources, Irrigation Management, and Geographic Information Systems services to the community. The PWD employs 20 staff members who manage drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, and maintenance operations. The PDTD employs 10 staff members who manage planning, design and construction, transportation, and road maintenance activities. The Realty Office employs four staff members who oversee land userelated issues. The Departments have conducted preliminary planning for Project needs, as shown in the table below.
