The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a Contract with one (1) qualified and experienced Contractor to provide professional construction management services for the construction of improvements at VRE's Alexandria Station and replacement of railroad bridges over King Street and Commonwealth Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. Question Deadline 04/09/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Questions and clarifications requested after such time will not be answered unless VRE elects, at its sole discretion, to do so The station improvements include: o Enhancement of existing ADA-compliant access between the two platforms o Rehabilitating the pedestrian tunnel o Installing elevators from the tunnel to platform level o Replacement of railroad bridges over King Street and Commonwealth Avenue DBE (14.1%) Confirmed shortlist.
