Reference Number 0000263169 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/12 11:59:00 AM MST Edmonton Regional Airports Authority is inviting proposals from qualified companies to provide waste and recycling services at Edmonton International Airport and Villeneuve Airport. This includes all services related to the collection, removal and disposal of non-hazardous waste, recyclables, organics, and International Waste, and also includes the supply of equipment, equipment maintenance and other goods and services needed to effectively carry out the services. Edmonton Airports wishes to enter into a mutually beneficial agreement with a selected contractor wanting to assist Edmonton Airports in achieving its objectives. These include, but may not be limited to: Provision of Services in a highly efficient, cost-effective manner Reduction of any adverse environmental impacts relevant to the provision of Services Increased diversion of materials from landfill Innovation in how services are performed and provided to improve effectiveness and efficiencies Increased social value impacts As noted in Part 1 of this RFP, Edmonton Airports strives to make ESG a key consideration when procuring goods and services, with an overall objective of continuous improvement in our sustainable procurement efforts. During the term of the envisioned agreement for waste and recycling services, our expectation is that the selected contractor will continually work with us to set and achieve new objectives as they arise. Term: 2024/05/01 02:00:00 AM EDT - 2029/04/30 02:00:00 AM EDT Services are anticipated to start on May 1, 2024, and will be for a term of five (5) years with one optional extension term of up to two years.
