The City through its Department of Capital Asset Construction is seeking bids for the construction of a multipurpose grass field, infield clay for two fields, parking lots, and associated site lighting and walkways at John J. Duggan Academy. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by close of business on February 2, 2024 in order to be considered. The City of Springfield goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and Federal DavisBacon Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so. The original RFI Submittals Deadline of Friday, February 2, 2024, at 4:00PM has been extended to Wednesday February 7, 2024, at 4:00PM.
