Renovation of an educational facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
While I am sure you will most likely need to reach out for discussions, I would like to offer a basic explanation of our needs and also offer you the opportunity to visit the campus facility for a walk through with us. Our Strand Lighting system (with Strand 200 control console) was installed in 2004 and in original to the facility. Lighting (1000 to 2000 watt) is all still tungsten/tungsten halogen and includes Cyc lights for the dual wall cyclorama and other fixtures (Fresnel, scoop/open face/ellipsoidal). Our strand system uses dual 20 AM dimmers and is controlled from a Strand 200 console. We are seeking to upgrade / retrofit into a hybrid system that would swap out 12 of the Dual 20amp dimmer power modules with Dual 20am constant power/non-dim modules. With the system now 20 years old we anticipate needing upgrade the rack and master startup module as well. My research and understand indicates that we could then use the new modules for LED light fixtures and continue to use select tungsten fixtures on the other original dimmers. This would require a new/different control console. As part of this upgrade, we would want to replace a large number of our original tungsten fixtures with LED. We would also want to phase out our portable/field lighting fixtures with current LED technology as well. Question Deadline 03/01/2024 at 10:00 AM ET On webpage.
