License Requirements A or B 61730.00001\33136164.1 Bid Valid 3/2024 Liquidated Damages $2,500.00/Day Question Deadline 02/02/2024 at 12:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes Interdistrict portable relocation for Victoria ES shall include, but not be limited to: removal of 8 portable classroom buildings at Sowers Elementary School in Huntington Beach with transportation to contractor's yard; minor renovations to 4 DSA classroom buildings as needed for future use; transportation and placement of 4 DSA portable classroom buildings to Victoria ES site in summer 2024 (site to be prepared by others), and storage of remaining 4 portable classroom buildings in contractor's yard as shown on the contract documents. Project includes all incidentals, adjacent, and related work to complete this scope. Protection of units throughout project is the responsibility of the contractor as well as coordination with site work contractor for a complete install in summer 2024. Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: Interdistrict portable relocation from Sowers MS in Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) to the final sites as specified within Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD). The eight (8) portable building will be site prepared and picked up for Sowers MS and transported to the contractor's yard for refurbishment and storage, and then relocation from contractor's yard to specified sites in NMUSD. Four (4) portable buildings will be transported and set at Victoria ES in Costa Mesa, California, and Four (4) portable buildings will be transported and set at a site to be determined at a later date no further than 8 miles from the NMUSD District office. The project includes, but is not limited to, demo for access and removal of portables, coordination with District and contractor providing disconnect to portables (disconnect by others), removal of any furniture or items needing to be removed for transport, protection of portables and preparation work for transport, transportation of portables, storage of eight (8) portables until needed by NMUSD, refurbishment of 4 DSA-approved portables and 4 non-DSA approved portables including: interior and exterior finishes, millwork, fixtures, installation of portables including all mod line reconnection, access ramps and sitework at specified sites as well as any other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Contractor will be required to provide insurance for portables during the entire project, additional information on this provided in the contract documents. Temporary fencing will be required for removal of portables at HBCSD, additional information on this provided in the contract documents. Coordination with HBCSD, HBCSD's contractor, NMUSD and their CM, and NMUSDs contractor to be included in this proposal for a complete removal and complete installation. Contractor will be required to complete safety program of HBCSD's contractor currently at the Sowers site. It is assumed this orientation should take one hour and all workers must attend before starting work on site. TRANSPORTATION OF BUILDINGS TO OCCUR ON SATURDAYS ONLY.
