Site work for a water / sewer project in Northwood, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work shall consist of installing 10,368 LF of drainage tile ranging in size from 36 to 12, crushing the existing tile, four open cut road crossings, and one bored road crossing. Est. Value - $ 800,000.00 Est. Completion Date: Oct. 4, 2024 Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the Board, and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be substantially completed no later than October 4 th , 2024. Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for each day the work remains incomplete. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 468.35a of the Iowa Code in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Base Bid. The Worth County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
