POL2362. Massachusetts State Police H6 South Boston Barracks Power Distribution & Generator Replacement. 125 William J. Day Boulevard South Boston. Category of Work: Electrical. Prevailing wage rates apply to this project in accordance with M.G.L. C. 149 sec. 26 & 27. The project is comprised of a Demolition of the existing electrical service, diesel generator and transfer switch with a new electrical service, switchgear, diesel fired generator and new automatic transfer switch, as indicated on the plans and specifications. Also, removal of flooring tile and mastic containing asbestos material. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared by the Massachusetts State Police 470 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01702-5351. . The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage, if any, is__5% The applicable women workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 5% Any questions by prospective Bidders concerning interpretation ofthe Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to the Awarding Authority and should be in its possession at least ten working days before the date set for the receipt of general Bids, or, if a question pertains to Item 2 filed sub-Bid work, at least ten working days before the date set for the receipt offiled sub-Bids. The Awarding Authority will mail any addenda or written interpretations that it deems necessary to Bidders who have taken out plans at the address given by them before the date set for the receipt of affected Bids. Bidders may not rely upon oral communications or interpretations from the Awarding Authority or the Designer and the Awarding Authority shall not be bound by them
