Bidders site inspection is encouraged to view the existing repair prior to bidding. Contractor shall schedule a required preconstruction meeting including County of Riverside Housing and Workforce Solutions, who manages the Community Development Block Grant Funding on behalf of the Federal Government. County will outline labor, payment and all Federal requirements for the project. All subcontractors and suppliers required to be listed in the bid must be present. The successful Bidder shall perform, with its own organization, Contract work amounting to at least fifty percent of (50%) of the Contract bid items. However, any designated "Specialty Items" may be performed by subcontract and the amount of any such "Specialty Items" may be deducted from the Contract items before computing the amount of work required to be performed by the Contractor.
