Te City is seeking to retain a transportation consultant to collect data and analyze the characteristics of parking for various types of land uses in the City, and to assess any gaps in the City's approach to parking reductions and strategies to decrease demand for parking. The proposed study is in alignment with the City of Iqaluit's Housing Action Plan (2021), which identifies reducing parking requirements as a key strategy. The Proponent's scope of services should encompass the following functions and include a comprehensive project outline, a project schedule or timeline, an expenditure breakdown for each project task, and a clear designation of the responsible person or firm within the City's staff for each task. The provided deliverables are presented as a preliminary proposal, and the City seeks the consultant's input on the suitability of the timeline and deliverables in relation to the proposed project process.
