Renovation of a water / sewer project in South Windsor, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
In general, the work to be performed under this contract shall be the removal of the existing Ultraviolet Disinfection System from its channel and replacement with a new Ultraviolet Disinfection System within a new concrete channel at the Water Pollution Control Facility. WORK INCLUDED: Removal of the existing UV disinfection system including its control panels, supports, surrounding concrete sidewalk, and hoop tent; repurposing the existing concrete channel to serve as the new system bypass, installation of a new concrete channel with access walkway adjacent to the existing channel, including connection into existing bypass piping; furnish and install new UV disinfection system into new concrete channel including electrical supply and control equipment; furnish and install new hoop tent; and pouring of new concrete access sidewalk to connect to existing sections, miscellaneous site grading and restoration, all as described and shown in these contract documents. The Town of South Windsor, Connecticut reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted in response to this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality, defect or irregularity in any or all Bids if such action is in the best interests of the Town. Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 2-28-2024.
